I can't recall most of my trip before 2005 but what I know besides travel by airplane, my family especially my dad brought us for the most adventurous road trip ever. Drove all the way from Kuching with stopby in Sibu, Bintulu, Miri, Brunei and finally got back to Kota Kinabalu after the whole journey took us almost a week on the road. We even drove from Penang to Kedah, cotinue to Perlis and thereafter took ferry to Langkawi. Right after the Langkawi trip, we continue by driving to Hatyai, Thailand.
When I was a little kid, I often travel back to back to Kuching, Sarawak because both of my parents are Sarawakian and I ever residenced in Brunei for more than a year due to my dad's job.
One fun fact about me is according to the day I was born - 10 March; People born on this day love to travel. No wonder! I was born this way apparently.
