Yeap! That's right. Greetings from South Korea and I'm still in South Korea currently, somewhere around Jeju Island. This is my first ever blog post updated directly from oversea .

Let's take a quick look of my travel journey around South Korea:

My first ever flight with Air Asia X. It's incredible massive but too bad, no entertainment inside the flight. [Boring to the max for almost 7 hours ]

Finally!!! Glad when see this welcoming board.

Before start travel around Seoul, bought this T-Money card which similar to Touch 'n' Go but much more easier, better and convenience than the Malaysian card.

Met our Korean friend, Kyung Hee (in stripe shirt). We met when we travel together around Europe for 20 days. She treat us lunch. Kamsamnida Kyung Hee!

Stayed at Namsan Guest House, which really recommended if you are budget traveller.

It's located at Myeongdong and I told you, gosh! It's shopping haven.

Everland - not only a theme park, but it's also a zoo. Love this to the max.

Namiseon Island - where famous for Winter Sonata.

Visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace on their Thanksgiving day and because of that, the admission is free.

And again out of my expectation, I managed to wear "hanbok" - Korean traditional costume.

Besides Seoul, we also managed to visit Jeju Volcanic Island (one of the new 7 Wonders of Nature and listed as UNESCO's World Heritage) by taking the domestic flight.

So, that's a little sneak peak of my trip around South Korea. Not a bad place to visit, just that we visit on a wrong timing. It's damn hot here and we're sweating like hell.

Sharing Saturday #02: Japan Plastic Food Displays

Short Note: Actually I am trip-ing around currently and this place located somewhere nearby Japan. ^_^. So here is another scheduled post.


When you come across to any restaurant or cafe that you are not familiar with, how to determine what type of foods are they served? Some of them do printed in a huge poster and display outside their shops and some even put a stand menu for you to browse it. But sometimes I do find it is irritating when the waiting table person come and non-stop persuade you to go dine-in in their restaurant.

Decorated and heavily fancy menus is one of the way of most restaurants around the world can do to let the customers know what they could have, but not for Japan.

The art of displaying the looks alike real foods are so popular throughout Japan and you can see that at most of the restaurant in Japan. (P/S: Currently I do found out minor of Malaysian restaurants do follow Japan's trend.)

Now, let me share with you the photo I took while travelling around Japan last year.

Not forgeting, dim sum and pao too. (A shop located at the train station)

Harajuku street crepes (I guess many of you saw this in KL shopping mall but Harajuku serve more flavours and taste)

All of them looks so tempting and seriously, I almost going into the restaurant after seeing all of these display in window outside their restaurant. Some of them look real, don't you think so?

Taiwan Day 4 : Part 2

Continue from my previous post (click here)

We headed on to the Former British Consulate Residence at Dagou. If you are history lover, then you should love this place. Built by the British Government, it is the earliest existing western style architecture in Taiwan.

It's located at the peak of the hill of the National Sun Yat-Sen University's sourthern side. Pity to the aunties and uncle because we had to climb hundreds of stairs before we reach this historical buildings.

There's even a fine cafe for you to have meals, sip a cup of tea or coffee while enjoy the romantic atmosphere and look out over the Port of Kaohsiung.

Next destinations was the Love River, one of the Kaohsiung's signature tourist attraction. I would recommend you to stroll along this riverbanks at night for the beautiful and romantic river scenery when all the colourful neon lights is being turn on.

Seriously, I never knew this place is Love River and I keep wondering at the very first place why the local tour guide did not brought us there until I was doing this entry yesterday *knock my head to the wall*. I didn't pay any attention to the local tour guide was all because of this....

Oh my gosh! 2 adorable cutie little dogs.

Hugging like for more than half hours but I still don't want to let go.

Can't deny that I am a dog lover. Everytime while walking on the road, if I did see any dogs especially on these cutie little dog, I just feels like want hug them like a baby. Do check out my previous post on sightseeing for dogs while I was travelling in Wales (click here and here).

And also at the same while writing this entry, I am missing these 2 lazy bump:

Meet Rosy (German Shepherd breed) and Guci (Shih Tzu breed)

But I miss the most is this small but chubby fattie puppy. Always brighter my every single day. 2 more months before I get to see you ^_^

A night would be incomplete in Taiwan without visiting one of their night market. Liouho Night Market, a must visit night market located in Southern Taiwan. Liouho Night Market was awarded the "Most Glamorous Night Market" prize for the categories of night market selection.

Thank God on that night, the local tour guide given us more time for us to venture around this night market. I had shared this in my previous post "Taiwan's Night Markets & Food" but I love to do it again especially for the new readers.

Short Notes: Oh no! I haven't finish my travel tales and stories around England and Europe, Taiwan and even China, and NOW I am going for another trip-ing again.
