After had done research and considering for so long, finally I had made up my mind to change my blog title "again" and also my post header picture.

My Loves On D

I fall in love with D since I was a little girl. The first time I saw D was during my 20 days of Europe Trip in Paris. I can't explain why I fall for D but I know that my love on D is getting more deeper after the moment I had in Paris. From that onwards, I keep telling myself no matters how far is D, I will try my best to visit D.

OK! Cut the crap. Actually D refer to Disneyland. I think I like D because my name also start with D. I do love animals start with D too such as dog and dolphin except for dinosaur.

Thanks to the founder and creator, Mr. Walt Disney for create such an incredible, fun and amazing amusement and theme park around the globe. Besides that, I also do love with his world's most well-known fictional character, Mickey Mouse.

Before this, I thought the first Disneyland Parks that I will visit was Hong Kong Disneyland but turns out, Disneyland Resort Paris was the first one that I visited.

Disneyland Paris comprises of two theme parks; Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. Visiting Disneyland Paris was not in the package during the tour around Europe but I urged my friend that we should visit it no matter how. Here goes my first step on D in Year 2008!

After the attempt to visit Hong Kong Disneyland failed for 2 times, finally I made it. Visiting Hong Kong Disneyland last year reminds me of Disneyland Paris but the differences was Hong Kong Disneyland is very small. Just take half of your day visit it and you manage to visit all unless you are going there on weekend or public holidays.

Even you can take photo with Disney's favourite icon without waiting for the long queue.

A month after Hong Kong Disneyland, I never thought of visiting Asia's first ever Disney Park. There are two types of theme parks - Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disneysea. As the time of visiting Japan is so limit, we need to sacrifice one of theme park and we sacrified on Tokyo Disneyland as I think most of the Disneylands are the same. Therefore, both of us opt for Tokyo Disneysea.

There are two more Disneyland Parks which located in USA. I wonder when will I able to fly to there to enjoy the non-stop excitement and thriller like a little kid. Hopefully one day!

My Shortest KL Trip Ever

I went KL last month for 2 days or I can said not even reach 48 hours and this is my first ever shortest trip to KL. Mostly people will go KL for 3 days 2 night but what to do, being attached to a job with limited annual leave which I could only apply for 2 days off only.

The day before I went to KL, TTM and I going to 1B for a movie. After the movie, we went to Digi Centre to subscribe the Digi Plan. As what he promised me for this year birthday present, at last he granted my wish. Although my birthday had been passed for almost 2 months, but it is better than nothing. I never force him to give whatever I want and I couldn't think what I want for this year birthday present. Out of sudden, he suggest handphone and this is what he bought for me.

Initially, he suggest iphone 4 but too bad no luck. There is a story behind why I didn't manage to get iphone (really really long story and too lazy to write it out) and end up, I plan to get HTC Desire HD. Actually I never thought of HTC at all but maybe influence by most of my friends especially two of my bestie who are currently using HTC too, so I think it is not a bad idea to have a try on it. And also it's time to change my 6 years old SE w810i.

However, I never thought that Digi Plan only works after 24 hours you subscribe that plan. End up, I brought 3 hp to KL (HTC, my old SE w81oi and borrow my bro hp). Sounds crazy, rite?

This is my firs time taking AirAsia's plane pic.

Once I reached KL, taking Skybus to KL Central. It had been one and half year since my last visit to KL. Sometimes I do miss KL. Without noticing, there is few changes in KL.

Especially on their LRT. Got code somemore.

I still keep the Touch n Go card with me and the balance is RM10. Wow! So immediately start my KL trip by going to Central Market or known as Pasar Seni. Someone requested for Baby Milo T-shirt and all I can think is to get it from Pasar Seni. But I not just purposely went Pasar Seni for that, I even bought almost 2kg of dried meat for my family. Can't find the best dried meat in KK, therefore need to get it all the way from KL.

After that, took KTM to Serdang to find my friend who check-in in Asia's most extraordinary and world-class award winning luxury hotel,

End my first night at KL by attending my friend's wedding dinner at the Mines. This is the main purpose I went to KL for. Shamed on those who lived in KL but unable to attend the dinner meanwhile for me, who all the way from Sabah also managed to attend his wedding dinner.

Kicking my day by having breakfast as Wangsa Maju. Loves to have breakfast at Wangsa Maju. Cheap and varieties of choice to choose from.

Wangsa Maju or more known as Desa Setapak is my lepak place during my study life in KL.

Thanks to Yin Yin,who drop by me here. After the breakfast, went to KL Central to deposit my luggage at the luggage storage for just RM3. OMG! Before this, I thought it cost me more than that not until Yin Yin told me. I feel like want to bang my head to the wall because I brought along my 5kg luggage with me when I went to Pasar Seni for almost 2 hours.

As my flight back to KK around 6.30 pm, so I went last minute shopping at Bukit Bintang. Enjoy the feeling of shopping alone because I managed to shop around 5 shopping centre within 3 hours.

Not only shopping centre around Bukit Bintang, I also managed to visit Suria KLCC by taking shortcut behind Pavilion. Which means within 3 hours, I had shopped around 6 shopping centres and all by just walking.

The purpose I went KLCC is because of the bookstore, Kinokuniya and also having lunch with my deariest, Purplefish. If talking about shopping at Suria KLCC, I would rather shop around Petaling Street or street markets even though under the hot and sweaty weather because I am not those chasing high end products and brand person.

Finally, bid goodbye to Kuala Lumpur.

Even LCCT changes a lot. More shops are opened.

Three funny things happened when on my way to be on board:

1) Before check-in to the boarding gate, there is an inspection on your identication card or passport. While the security checking my IC, I was almost shocked to death when he knew my dad's name without any computer besides him. WAH! I never knew my dad is so famous. Actually the truth was coincidentally my dad has the same name as Malaysia's infamous producer who has produced uncountable of Malay movie in Malaysia. Guess who is that?

2) During the scan on the hand luggage or cabin luggage, I were being asked to open what's inside my wallet. WALLET??? What had I stored inside my wallet which I never know? They said my wallet contains many metals and guess what? I had too many coins with me. Like that also they can't differentiate coins.

3) Finally, I almost miss my plane because I was queue on the wrong gate. Despite queue on Gate 10, I was queue on Gate 11 due to too much addiction of the new toy (what else non other than new handphone). With my stupidity, I still saying "Wah, that line so fast one!" then I just realised that was my gate. Immediately run through that gate. Lucky enough for me to aware or else, I will heard my name or maybe my dad's name during the annoucement.

Say it is the shortest trip but I blog like I went KL for a week. You might boring with my rants and ramblings of my KL trip as most of you had went there before but this blog serve as a place where I share my travel experience, adventure and journey throughtout my life. Who said go to KL from KK cannot treat as travel adventure?

Tokyo Tower, The Looks Alike Eiffel Tower

I almost forgot about this not until I browse my picture few minutes ago.

Don't you think the two towers look the same?

The two towers actually looks alike but actually these are two different towers. The first pic is Japan's Tokyo Tower wherelse the second pic is Eiffel Tower, France. Nicole and I went for sightseeing after we went to Harajuku for second trip.

Tokyo Tower's structure is actually inspired by Eiffel Tower and it is painted with white and international orange to comply with air safety regulations. Stands at 332.5 metres, Tokyo Tower is Japan's second tallest artificial structure after Tokyo Sea Tree with its full height of 634 metres which is currently under construction. By the way, Tokyo Tower is 13 metres taller than Eiffel Tower.

Looks my phototaking skill is much more better than Nicole. =P

As Nicole and I did not had the intention to go all the way up to the top floor of the Tower, both of us went to the first floor to check it out any special place to visit. Without noticing, there is sourvenir shop. Spend few minutes to buy Japanese snack and local foods.

Japan is the place for those who likes Hello Kitty as it is everywhere.

Banana soft biscuits. Regret for puchase 1 box as it is so crunchy and tasty.

How to go there:
Stop at Hamamatsucho Station on the JR Yamanote and JR Keihin-Tohoku Line and walk for 15 minutes.

Admission fee: 1420 yen (to top floor), 820 yen (to intermediate floor only)
Opening hours: 9.00 am - 10.00 pm

Reveal the Unrevealed Trip

It's cool to spend your public holiday by going for a trip; either inbound trip or outbound trip. But the next thing you know is that your holiday is over and you don't have enough time to be slack on your bed because most of your time had been spending walking for non-stop during your trip.

This is my 4th trip after working life and once I came back from a trip, the next day I will start working without taking any extra leave. It's quite tiring sometimes but for me, travelling is always within my blood and bone. It is my passion or I can said. "I was born to become traveler ".

Just returned from my holiday and guess who got it right where had I been to? Tiara Dryden, you are absolutely correct. Yes, I went to China for 4 days with my family - including my bro who currently studied in Kuching and my sis and even her boyfriend all the way from Singapore. I still remember my previous family trip was in year 2005 to Hong Kong together with my late grandfather.

Anyway congratulation to Tiara Dryden as you might receive mystery gift. I will contact you later. This is my first ever real gift-away. For Jeff Chuah, don't be dissapointed as I will do it again next time.

Will post more on my China trip.

It's not the first time I'd been to China as I had been there and it was the greatest birthday gift from my dad. Went to Beijing and other cities in 2006 during my birthday.

Unrevealed Trip

Note: Another scheduled post again and this will be my final post for this month!

Exactly 5 months after my Taiwan trip, now I'm on holiday again. Vacation! Travelling! Trip! Whatever you name it but what I know is I am going to shopping like mad but will not make myself shop till drop.

Which country this time around? Hint: I had been to this country before but just different city and I never blog about it.

Tokyo House Ikebukuro

{Note: Air Asia is having BIG SALE currently and the fare is incredible cheap for just as low as RM0.10. Did you manage get the ticket you want? As for me, after trying for 7 hours and 10 minutes, I just managed get 1 while one of my friend within 2 hours after the sales start, he managed to book to 3 places. I wonder how he get through the irritating waiting room}

Tokyo is well-known to be one of the most expensive city and finding an affordable and cheap accomodation is not an easy task. So for those who are going to Tokyo soon after bought the most cheapest ticket I ever knew (imagine just RM330 for return ticket), here I would like to share the place where I stayed during my last year autumn trip to Japan in an affordable price that would not burn a hole in your pocket during your trip there.

Tokyo House Ikebukuro is conveniently located in the heart of Tokyo area, Ikebukuro. Its located 5 minutes from the Ikebukuro Station and if you take the C1 exit of the station, it just take less than 2 minutes walk to this guest house (we only realised about this on the last 2 days of our stay =="). Not to worry about the language barriers as this guest house are managed by the Taiwanese.

There are two types of room;

1) Japanese-Style - 16 japanese-style rooms featuring Japanese tatami and matress. No bathroom or toilet attached but there are 4 separate public bathrooms with shampoo, conditioners and shower gel. It is so damn clean and sometimes I almost fall in love with their toilets. Inside the room, there are heater or air-con, TV, alarm clock, hair dryer and closet.

2) Annex Suites - 6 suites with private bathroom/toilets. There even has a mini living room, refrigerator, water boiler and microwave oven inside the suites.

Nicole and I opt for Japanese-style room to experience the living style of the Japanese.

Cosy and warm room for two guests cost ¥6,000 per night.

Ignore the messy things and bag.

The super duperb clean bathroom.

There's even an open kitchen for you to cook your food and enjoy your meals.

THREE MAIN REASONS I love this guest house are:

1) Free breakfast provided (bread, fruits jam, butter) at 7 a.m. But the lady is so kind when she heard that we are leaving as early as 4.30 to the Tsukiji Fish Market (click here), she prepared and put on the table for us.

2) Free 3 minutes call to call back home - During our 8 days trip in Japan, we were unable to call back home. Don't know what is the problem with Digi and Maxis line (not sure for Celcom). The only way to connect back home is through net. But thanks God! The lady told us that we can use the phone which located at the front desk for free. So, immediately call my mother and told her I am OK.

3) Not only free wireless Internet in the room, but they even allow us to use the Internet PC for free. I almost need to pay ¥50 for the usage of half hour of Internet PC during the stay in J-Hoppers (click here) but luckily I hold on my plan to do so. The reason why I need PC is to transfer all the photo from our camera to the external hardisk which I brought to there. You know how life could be miserable while you are taking photo during travelling and your camera is showing this, "MEMORY FULL"! Gosh.

I'm almost forgot. There are coin-operated washers and dryers available. But the lady (the management of the guest house which I refer to) told us that we could use the washing machine which located at the back of the guest house for free. I guess there are more than three reasons I love this guest house.


Highly recommended guest house for those who travel with budget that comes with good amenities and facilities and great location. There are two 24 hours convenience store such as 7-11 and even McDonald nearby the guest house.

Chatime - Good Tea Good Time?

In Kota Kinabalu, bubble tea is a common beverage to everyone here since the opening of the local pearl milk tea bar called Yoyo Cafe back in the year of 2000. From that onwards, bubble tea cafe is springing up like mushrooms after rain and can been seen anywhere around Kota Kinabalu town.

During my study life of 4 years in Kuala Lumpur, it's hardly for me to hunt any bubble tea or pearl milk tea around Kuala Lumpur. And even if I found it, it only can be seen in a small and tiny stand shop in shopping centre or in night market.

Not until recently I came across of few bloggers who blog about the opening of Taiwan's beverage franchise called Chatime which is famous for its bubble tea. So, I put this on my list as "The Thing I Must Search For" during my short visit to Kuala Lumpur last few days.

So before I'm going to KL, doing some research where can I get a cup of this famous bubble tea around KL city. Thanks God that I can get it either from Times Square or Pavilion as I can only lepak around these 2 places during my 2 days visit in Kuala Lumpur.

However, when comes to price, honestly to say it is much more expensive compare to Yoyo, Easyway and other bubble tea in KK town area. The price range from RM4.00 and above. Anyway, I was given a choice to choose the level of ice and sugar that I want for my drink; either less or more of ice and sugar.

And I choose Mango Green Tea.
It is so refreshing and rejuvenating especially to cool down my body in the hot hot weather of KL.
