Taking ETS From KL Sentral to Arau, Perlis

Almost every year, I will be selected to be part of the participants to attend the Annual General Meeting and Conference of Girl Guides Association Malaysia (PPPM). For the year 2018, the state of Perlis will be the host and I was in charged to plan for our journey from KLIA to The Putra Regency Hotel where the event will be held there.

One of the members suggested to take ETS (short form for 'Electric Train Service') or known as KTM, from KL Sentral to Arau, the nearest railway station in Perlis. Turned out, it was the best recommendation as we got to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the journey. Look at the spectacular lush green rice field.

A gift given by the host - Love it!

Right after our official event ended, it's free and easy day. We took the half day tour to Padang Besar, a border town situated in the northern part of Perlis. This place is a great place for cheap shopping, such as souvenirs, handbags, houseware and even Thai snacks. And I got myself a nice and cheap bedding set to bring back home (kinda crazing about bedding set lately).
